Following an online poll, the TAAM user community has voted to hold the 2016 Worldwide TAAM User Group meeting in Whiteley, UK, hosted by NATS UK. Thank you to both NATS and the Air Traffic Management Bureau of China for volunteering their locations to host the event.

Jay Wang of Landrum & Brown has been selected as the 2016 User Group chairperson. and will be working closely with Simon Martin and his colleagues at NATS to plan the event.

In the mean time, another poll has been set up to allow users to choose their preferred dates for the meeting, to be held sometime in October. Users may vote for dates at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WWTUGDATES2016.

The poll will close on February 16th.

WWTUG DATES:  October 12-16, 2015.

LOCATION:  Seattle, Washington USA

Dear TAAM Community:

I hope you are all doing well.  We would like to share with you the venue address for this year’s WWTUG which has been confirmed to be the Boeing offices in Seattle, Washington located at:

9752 East Marginal Way South

Tukwila WA

98108

For ease of reference, please refer to the map below where it is indicated as the 9-120 building, (located directly across the street from the Museum of Flight):

With regards to accommodation, Boeing is currently in the process of ascertaining whether they can arrange a preferential group rate with a local hotel.  For the interim, I have however, attached a list of preferred hotels in the downtown area for planning and budgeting purposes and you should be able to request the Boeing rate if a group rate cannot be arranged.  Boeing has suggested staying in the downtown area and driving or taking a taxi (15 min or so) to this facility.

In addition, Tony Weatherington has been kind enough to create a WWTUG attendance survey:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/WWTUG2015

Please follow the link to indicate your attendance and presentation intention in order to assist us in our planning efforts.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact me.  I look forward to seeing you all in Seattle later this year, for what I’m sure will be a very productive and fruitful WWTUG 2015.

Thank you,

Kind Regards,
